This grid shows 8 squares per inch without a sub-grid. Every square on this sheet represents one foot in reality. This is a good size to use when sketching preliminary architectural plans.
At this scale, a modestly sized home can be scanned onto a letter-sized sheet of paper and easily emailed to a client.
